My vision of this company started in December of 1999 with the birth of my son.  I desperately wanted to breastfeed him but he was born 5 weeks early and we had issues getting started. With the help of some fabulous women, a lactation consultant and the desire to give my son the best I had to give we went on to breastfeed for 14 months!  I have since had 4 other children whom I have also breastfed for over a year!  I am currently breastfeeding my youngest child who was born on Sept 26th 2010!

 

I started this company in March of 2009 after completing my Lactation Educator and Counselor program at the University of California in San Diego and have since become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

I started my career with WIC Williamson County as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and have since transitioned into private practice.  I am a member of the Heart of Texas Lactation Consultants and the Central Texas Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition. 

In addition I teach breastfeeding classes, provide support at monthly postpartum potlucks, our monthly walk in clinic and private in home consultations for Get Babied Doula Collective.

 

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I hope to be able to give women the support and information they need to be successful at breastfeeding!
