Education and Information
As a breastfeeding mom and an educator I have had a hard time sitting down to work on this page. My goal is to reach moms out there who are "on the fence" about breastfeeding or who have a lot of wrong information.
I am passionate about giving our children the best we can possibly give them!
I also want to change the attitude towards breastfeeding and the general perception of the breastfeeding mom.
Culturally our attitude is skewed, breasts have become over sexualized. Breasts are not initially perceived as the way to feed our children but rather as a display of sexuality.
Breastfeeding is the NORMAL state! We need to always remember this. We are not heroes because we breastfeed, we are normal. We choose to feed our children naturally, the way it was intended! When someone chooses to feed artificial baby milk for whatever reason they are choosing to feed their child an inferior product.
I choose to have the following perspective...there are no "benefits" to breastfeeding because breastfeeding is the NORMAL state but rather there are HAZARDS to NOT breastfeeding because artificial baby milk is an inferior product.
